A Very Big Thank You Card

Today I'd like to share a thank you 'card' I made for over 200 people to sign and write a personal message in.  As you can imagine, it turned more into a book!

I made it with two bindings to allow for extra space.  There were pages that folded out and some simple tabs, all left blank with a few stamped 'thank you' messages throughout.

The tree and grass on the cover were made using Memory Box dies and a combination of ProMarkers and SU marker pens.

Here it is all ready to give in its box:

I won't list the supplies as I can't remember all the names, but what I can is listed in the post labels.

I completely agree with today's cat!  What on earth is 'normal' anyway?!

Kinda Eclectic Thank You

I'm sharing a quick thank you card using Kinda Eclectic today.  One-layer, no masking, faffing around or any nonsense: I needed a card in a hurry and as I have a reputation for my crafting supplies, I feel like I can never buy a card to send to someone anymore!

Isn't it amazing how cats end up in the unlikeliest places for a little lie down?  Wispa and Rolo, to our utter amazement, as well as curling up on our bed, armchairs and sofa, also love using their cat beds!! I haven't seen them do this though:

Super Speedy One-Layer Birthday Card

... and for a bloke too!

Fast cards are brilliant to get made in a nap time, and this two-step stamp set, called Happy Congratulations, from SU ticks all the boxes for me.  It is simply elegant and I love it.

Sneaky Peeks!

I've decided to spoil you a little bit today.  Amid all the excitement of the retiring lists, I'm also having a play with some new bits and bobs that I am privileged to get my mitts on a whole month before the catalogue is actually released, so I thought I'd show you what I've been up to.

I am really enjoying one stamp set in particular called Mosaic Madness, which comes with a matching embossing folder and punch.  All will be available on the 2nd July.  Here are a couple of creations I made last week.

I embossed the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock and then stamped a few of the designs on some scraps.  I glued them onto the embossed card and adhered one on a dimensional.  I added in some of the Itty Bitty shapes and a greeting from A Word For You.  I added the panel to a base made from Midnight Muse to finish it off.  I made another version out of Raspberry Ripple too and I quite like both.

Prayer

Hi all, sorry it's been a while again.  Various things going on at home.  I won't go into the details... but I would appreciate prayer for my husband's health at the moment.

Here is a quick card that I made using the lovely single stamp Praying Hands.  I was delighted to see a nice choice of Christian stamps in this year's Stampin' Up catalogue as they can be quite tricky to get hold of in the UK.  The sentiment is part of one from A Word For You.  Isn't the flourishing font elegant?  I picked out the part I wanted with my Early Espresso marker and stamped it beneath my hands image, placing it where I wanted it with my stamp-a-ma-jig.

It reminds me of the poem 'Cats Sleep Anywhere' that I had to learn off by heart at primary school.  I can still recite it to this day!
