Sometimes you need a card in a hurry and I often find that stamping a quick one-layer card using a tried and tested layout works best. I rarely try to incorporate patterned paper because I get bogged down in layers, so with this card I experimented a little.
The birthday girl's favourite colour is purple which I rarely use, so this was even more out of my comfort zone. I like the idea of using a negative but I think the purple paper should be mounted onto another layer of card to lift it a little. Kraft always works, doesn't it?!
