Quilting Scrapbooking

I've got another layout to share with you today, this time it is of Mr Furry Tale's quilting project that I posted about some time ago.

All these gorgeous papers are from the Tea for Two collection... a collection I love so much I've just ordered myself a second packet of it because the seasonal catalogue ends at the end of this month!  I cut out some of the hexagonal design, and secured them over the top of some longer strips of paper.  The photo forms a pocket and the oval shape pulls out to reveal the journalling.  I really love the arrows from the Oh, Hello stampset and the arrow paperclip that all point the eye into the centre.

Here's a closer look:

Supplies
Stamps: Oh, Hello
Ink: Basic Black
Card: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral
Paper: Tea for Two Designer Series Paper
Other: arrow clip, Ovals Framelits and BigShot

I'm taking this layout to play in Di's playground where we're all using our 'partner voices' to give her time to recover from a riotous weekend!!  The sun is still shining up here near Lancaster and it does make a difference to get up and come home in glorious sunshine.  :)  I have a lovey dovey picture for you today:

Thanks for visiting me,

  1. Love your layout Victoria - the patchwork design is perfect! Err, does Mr Furry Tale wanna come and play - we could do with a nice chap to show us quilting, and while he's here there are a few odd jobs so if he could just bring his hammer and ladders....?!

    Hugs, Di xx
