Special Scrapbooking

One of the things I love about scrapbooking is that you can scrapbook pretty much anything.  My scrapbook is as eclectic as I am, with pages about food sitting comfortably next to important family moments.  Today I am sharing the scrapbook page I made for when our nephew was born (he's one year old on 1st May -- behind, moi?).

All of the papers are from the lovely Tea for Two pack and I started my layout by cutting out the papers I wanted to use.  I stamped the words 'it's a boy' in the top right and those cute little baby feet in the bottom right, all in Marina Mist.  The lovely lace is part of the Artisan Embellishments Kit, as is the heart doily, the die cut heart card and the 'love' ticket stub.  I added some ivory paper onto the card, held in place with an old SU brad.  To finish, I adhered three roses from the Flower Trim from the current seasonal catalogue.

Here's a closer look at the centre of my page:

It's not what I had in mind for this page... it just kind of happened, but I just kind of like it this way!

Supplies
Stamps: Baby Prints
Ink: Marina Mist
Paper: Tea for Two Designer Series Paper

  5. Gorgeous layout there Victoria. Scrapbooking is such a great hobby I think as there is no time constriction as to when you undertake a layout. I was doing some yesterday of our wedding!
So as we have both done layouts on Tuesday, do you fancy joining me regularly on Tuesdays?

  9. I'm sure your scrapbook is much more interesting with a surprise on each page. I think it's kind of nice not knowing what to expect when you turn the corner! Sweet baby and fun Easter picture!
