Ingleborough Fell in Winter Sunlight

Can you tell it's the Easter holidays with the amount I'm blogging at the moment?  I'm having lots of fun making things this week.  Some of them aren't even binded!

Today I have another layout to share with you.  Back in January, Mr Furry Tale and I decided to do the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail.  Normally we object to having to pay to go for a walk but people do speak very highly of this trail so we went to do it one sunny afternoon.  We managed to capture a great shot of Ingleborough in the golden winter sunlight late in the day, a photo which merited a whole layout to itself.

It was Tea for Two papers to the rescue again.  The green, blue and yellow shades seemed to match the photograph exactly.  I followed a layout that I found on Pinterest (love this site!) and used Very Vanilla as my base layer.  I didn't use many supplies on this layout but scrapbooking doesn't have to be complicated!

Here's a closer look:

Supplies
Ink: Basic Grey marker pen
Card: Very Vanilla, Lucky Limeade
Paper: Tea for Two Designer Series Paper
Other: Timeless Type Junior Alphabet dies and Bigshot, wooden embellishments (non-SU)

I've got some more good photos from this walk so I'm hoping to get those scrapped soon as well.  I used some snippets up on this layout so I'll take it to the playground ready for Show and Tell, though really I should be ignoring Miss Di after her mean April Fool's trick!

Hope today's kitty makes you smile!

Have a lovely day!  Thanks for visiting,

  2. Another lovely layout Victoria. I really love the colours on the hills.
If you ever want to do the Sugar Loaf walks in South Wales, you can use our house as a base, as we are on the footpath (not always a good thing let me tell you!!). We don't charge for walking on the footpaths in Wales you know!

  3. Love this layout Victoria - am sure I've done that very same walk many moons ago. Yup, just checked online - it's a beautiful place indeed. Cute kitty today too :)

Mary Mac pulled the April Fool on her craft class - one of the ladies snuck away and ordered some sticky tape - I kid you not! Not only that, she came back pleased as punch saying 'Word mustn't be out yet - they had loads of stock!!'

Don't fret though, it's a one and only - I actually felt a bit bad about it :( More so when my tape runner broke later on in the day, served me right.

    Hugs, Di xx
