WOYWW Today?

I've loved having a right ole nosey at what is on everyone's desks the last couple of weeks.  Go here if you fancy having a nosey too.  It just makes me itch to start creating!  Sometimes it's what someone is making at that moment in time and other times it's goodies I can see in the background.  I find it fascinating what 'essentials' people keep close to hand and what is 'essential' for one person might be in the bottom of a drawer for someone else.

Anyway, enough wittering.  Here is what's on my work desk today:


This photo shows that no matter how clear a space may be (and my desk really was quite clear), a cat will always find something to sit on, hence why his furry derriere is on top of a load of patterned paper.

If you're curious, the cat food box in the background is going to be altered into a recipe card box.  At least that's the plan.  Maybe that's why Socks felt the need to sit there of all places?

    LOL your cat looks like my cat Mittens. My cat has 4 white paws and on her tummy when she lies upside down she has white patches that look like she has a bikini on. I will have to get a photo wont I. Love your ink holder I so need one of those. Sandy :) #57

    you are so right Victoria, if there is a load of space free and just a little of it has 'stuff' there that is always where the cat always sits and/or sleeps! I love seeing your beautiful cat as we don't have any right now, don't trust our Eddy, although he never hurt our old girls, just caught them, wagged his tail and licked them lol! Karen x

    That puss-cat is not moving!! I have so many fabrics/threads on the go that my two are simply not allowed in - it would be carnage if they got involved!!

    That is SO true!!! Even if it's a 3x3 inch square, they will find it, and sit on it, and that's it!!!

    Ah, yes, no crafting desk is complete without a bit of the puss -- hair, claw marks, teeth marks, anything that shows who REALLY owns the work space. LOL Socks is just so regal! Hugs to both of you. :-D

    What is it about pets that they always want to go where you don't want them too! A bit like husbands who dump stuff in the area you have just cleared in the kitchen!
