Miniature Masterpiece!

While the title might make it seem like I'm blowing my own trumpet today, I'm not at all.  I'm sharing the wonderful mini easel card sent to me by Sue Ralph as part of the cardswap group I belong to.  Our orders this month were to create a card with maximum dimensions of 4" square.

Isn't it amazing?  Sue has used the Pressed Clay and moulds that are part of the new SU catalogue. I have resisted so far but it does become even harder when such beauties come through my letterbox.  What surprised me was that the clay doesn't set really hard and doesn't become brittle.  It's got some silicone in it so there is some give there.  This beauty now has pride of place on my desk!

Don't have nightmares with today's cat!

Have a lovely day!

  3. Gorgeous! I would love to know where the bird mould is from, I've been making similar since DH got me moulds and air dry clay for Xmas - I'm desperate to get a bird mould though! Karen x

  5. Lucky you because it is indeed a mini masterpiece. I haven't seen this new SU product, so thanks for sharing. Your friend did a lovely job in the creation of this- so much dimension & soft color. Hugs
