I enjoyed my inaugural blog
I'm having a little punch fest with my gorgeous Everyday Enchantment papers and making up a little positive/negative card, which I might let you see later this week if you're good. The stamps at the back are from Nature Walk as I've been trying out a couple of ideas... which didn't work, but hey ho, now I know.
I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself this morning. As part of trying to save the pennies in the Furry Tale World, I've started to bake our bread by hand instead of buying it at the supermarket. Well today's loaf is only the second I've ever made and look at it!!
I'll be round visiting as many desks as I can later! Thanks for peeking in at my desk (and kitchen) today,
Very clean and organized desk (love that). Love the papers you use for your card. They are so sweet. Hope you have a crafty week. Bye, Franka #44
ReplyDeleteStill a pretty clear and tidy desk says the Neat Freak!

Blimey, that loaf is awesome!! Any bread I've ever made has been refused by my kids on the grounds that it 'looks weird Mum' !!! Happy woyww! Trish #68
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness. Look at your tea cosy? Never mind the desk! I am surprise Sandra hasn't spotted it! lovely bread too. Could do with that to go with my home made scrummy smelling curry tonight. Plenty there if you fancy some!

There's nothing like home made bread - yum! Thanks for a peep at your workspace. Hope you have a good week - Hazel, WOYWW #124 x
ReplyDeleteOooo, that loaf takes me back to the days when my children were very young and I baked 4 loaves of bread every week. Then one of them discovered sourdough bread and we had to add that to the menu so it became 3 regular loaves and 3 sour dough loaves every week. Where did I ever find the time? lol
ReplyDeleteThat bread is beautiful! I'll bet it tasted good too. Your desk looks so neat. I can't wait to see that project!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm impressed - your bread looks delicious!

Welcome aboard once again, Victoria! As a breadbaker myself, I can honestly say that that is one gorgeous loaf of bread!! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteI can smell the bread from here! My mouth is watering & it's making me really hungry. It is a beautiful loaf! Great job! Love your tidy desk as well.
ReplyDeleteLook at it indeed! Bread, most especially homemade is a major weakness for me. Good thing I'm sitting, as my knees are noodled. Drool. AND, you have all my fairies feeding you chocolate?! I'm going to nose around a bit more (don't worry I won't get a better offer than your bread!) and then I'll be over. No wait, I'll be over now and THEN I'll go snooping, what am I saying?!
ReplyDeleteWow - you clever thing, that looks really professional! Put a couple of pieces in the toaster, I'll be round in 5 mins...LOL!!
ReplyDeleteMy eyes were drawn to the very funky chicken behind though - is it a tea cosy?? It's really cute...don't know if I'd be patient enough to make that. I'm all about instant gratification...sad but true :)
Thanks for your lovely comments but I am a Jack of all Trades and Master of None,....but I enjoy trying everything!
Hugs, LLJ #57 xx
I wish my craft table was that tidy. Your bread looks so good I can almost smell it - that's the only problem with freshly baked bread, it just smells so good I have to eat it whilst it is still warm.

That loaf of bread steals the show - looks delicious. Lovely tidy desk but like what you are doing to those books.
ReplyDeleteSorry I am late this week and thanks for the good wishes. Hugs, Neet #47 xx
Lovely papers for stroking and using, Victoria - I tend to need a set for each lol! And as for the beautiful bread, I can smell it from here! Delicious! I compromise and use a bread maker, but we eat all home-made bread and set it to work overnight so you smell it when you wake up - lovely for breakfast! (Why is it, when we eat bread every day of our lives, we never, never get sick of it?! One of the miracles of life.)
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

That is one perfect loaf of bread are you sure you are not pulling our leg and you raced up the shop and got that one. Only kidding. Brilliant, fantastic, wow. Love the paper collection too, I do hope you get to play with it sooner rather than later.
