Addicted to... Blue!

It's a colour challenge this week at Addicted to Stamps and we want to see your blue creations!  Hopefully they won't make you feel blue while you make them!  Do pop over and see the talented DT's cards!

What says blue more than a new baby boy?  Not much, I know, so I used my lovely Baby Prints stamp set to make this:

(This is the part where you go 'awww'!)  It was dead simple to make, so I won't go into detail.  Suffice to say I used my favourite embossing folder to jazz up the background, together with a scrap of my current favourite patterned paper.

Supplies
Stamps: Baby Prints
Ink: Baja Breeze
Card: Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Paper: Twitterpated Designer Series Paper
Other: lattice embossing folder, Big Shot, blue baker's twine (non-SU... and it bugs me that it's not the right shade!)

As always, do get in touch if these or any other SU goodies have caught your eye!  I'd be delighted to assist you with your crafty makes and place an SU order for you.  Just give me a ring on 07977 141605 or send me an email.  Remember that, during July, if your order comes to £45 or more, you receive two 9-yard spools of organdie ribbon and a box of gorgeous Everyday Enchantment brads for absolutely free!

I love today's cat photo as all you have to do is substitute the word 'crafting' for 'internet' and you have a perfectly accurate description of what Socks has to do sometimes.  Actually it doesn't pay to ignore him for too long while I'm crafting as he has a naughty habit of launching himself at full speed up onto my desk to play with anything and everything that can be patted around with his paw!

I look forward to seeing your blue creations this week... and don't forget there is still time to enter our celebrations scrapbooking challenge!  If I can do it, so can you!

Thanks for visiting,

  10. Ah, yes, amazing how the fur babies never really outgrow that need to be the center of attention! Adorable card. I've just ordered that embossing folder after drooling over it every time I saw someone using it on a card. I just love it!
