I cut a panel of white card and embossed the hearts across the middle using one of my Adorning Accents embossing folders. I fastened the ribbon around the middle to make more of a feature of it. I die cut the numbers 6 and 0 out of white card and attached rhinestones (not real diamonds!). I couldn't think what to do about the hearts as I didn't think I had a heart die and I knew my hand drawn ones wouldn't look too good against such a crisp design, but then I noticed to my delight that the alphabet dies set I cut the numbers out of also has two different heart designs (as well as general punctuation marks, a button and a flower)! This was then mounted onto an offcut of silver card and secured to a card blank.

I'd like to enter this into the 'monochrome' challenge at Charisma Cardz and enter a second time into the 'clean and simple' challenge at Card Crafters' Circle. And as no new sheets of card were harmed in the creation of this card, I can go and play in the Snippets Playground too.
Well, didn't our gymnasts excel yesterday? What an amazing performance! I loved watching them, and the rowers too. What a fabulous row by Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins... surely it's their year for gold?! I haven't seen any of the equestrian events so will try to catch up a bit today.
