The 12" background is lovely textured Very Vanilla card, with strips oF Everyday Enchantment down the left hand side. The punched border is textured Early Espresso card and I think it looks nice and bold compared to the other colours. I love the title; I treated myself to the Timeless Type alphabet dies as after just four layouts, I was struggling to make the titles I wanted to with my alphabet stickers.
The event I am scrapbooking is a barbecue we held in our garden at the Jubilee weekend. We were very lucky in that it didn't rain. We decorated the garden with a friend's bunting, borrowed church's massive barbecue and invited everyone at church who wanted to come. It was a really great day! We made a whole host of salads and cakes for everyone, and said 'bring your own meat'... we ended up with a freezer full of burgers and sausages afterwards as everyone was so generous!
Supplies
Card: textured Very Vanilla and Early Espresso, Whisper White
Paper: Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper
Other: Timeless Type Junior Alphabet, BigShot, Leafy Lace border punch (non-SU)
I'd like to enter my layout into the 'bright and cheerful' challenge at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and 'The Great Outdoors' challenge at Cupcake Craft.
As I've scrapbooked a barbecue, it's only fair that I share a culinary-minded feline with you today:
