The card is a monochrome creation making it perfect for the 'One colour, you say?' challenge at Card Crafter's Circle and the lovely sentiment makes it work well for Tuesday Throwdown's 'Friendship' challenge too.
Unusually, I have gone all blue (if you're a regular here, you'll know I'm a hot colours kind of gal)... but *whispers* I actually rather like it. So here we go:
We can't have a card made with Tea Shoppe stamps without sending a teabag too, can we? The little teabag envelope was made by printing off a free template from the internet and decorating simply. Easy. Here's the card by itself:
Tea Shoppe means doilies in my mind so I used this gorgeous square doily sent to me by the lovely Clare. What a kind friend! The little tea cups (without saucers.... shocking!) have been cut out individually, mounted onto Island Indigo card and made into a square. I added the odd pearl as well, just because.
I finished off the card with a bow in Whisper White satin ribbon and an antique brad. I was positively squealing with excitement when these babies arrived. Just look at the gorgeousness! And only £5.50 for 20 (4 each of 5 designs)... bargain!
Supplies
Stamps: Tea Shoppe
Ink: Island Indigo
Card: Whisper White, Island Indigo
Other: square doily (non SU), antique brad, Whisper White 5/8" satin ribbon, pearls, dimensionals
And just in case you're really worried about me posting at 6am on a Saturday morning, this post is scheduled!
