Fresh Vintage Postage Stamp

I had to go out early this morning but managed a quick glance at the Less is More website before going to my hospital appointment.  I thought I could muse on the theme while waiting!  And what a theme!  Take 3 (or more!) challenges from Less is More's past and combine them.  While part of me is itching to see exactly how many challenges I can possibly combine, I thought I'd settle for three for now.  I went for:
  • Week 12: Off Centre (Less is More has taught me so much about layout!)
  • Week 55: Punches or Die Cuts
  • Week 56: Don't Scrap It

I did promise you last week that I'd show you a little more of the Fresh Vintage stamp set, other than the rather gorgeous main bloom.  So today's card uses two more of the set: the postage stamp design that coordinates with the postage stamp punch, and the lovely background stripe stamp.

I wanted to use up some scraps from the quilt background I made last week so I punched out three squares with my postage stamp punch and adhered them to some Sahara Sand card stock.  I completed the square with the postage stamp design stamped in Real Red ink, as I think this is a really good match with the Poppy Parade colour in the designer paper.

The background stripe was stamped in Baja Breeze ink onto the Whisper White card base.  All that was left to do was pop the square on dimensionals and I added a heart for that little bit of off the page interest.

Supplies
Stamps: Fresh Vintage, I {Heart} Hearts
Ink: Baja Breeze, Real Red
Card: Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Paper: Everyday Enchantment
Other: Stamp-a-ma-jig

There's less than a week left of Sale-a-bration where you can earn this lovely stamp set and designer paper (and/or three others) for every £45 you spend.  Add to that my special offer of free P&P and a prize draw to win a set of Everyday Enchantment paper for yourself and I hope that you are tempted!  If you have any questions or would like to order some SU goodies, please do not hesitate to get in touch by email or by phone on 07977 141605.

Well hasn't it been absolutely gorgeous today?  We've been tackling some put-off-as-long-as-we-can jobs in the garden and garage, but we did enjoy the sunshine.  I've even got a bit of a glow!  The forecast looks great for the next few days too!

Hope you have had a lovely day and thanks for stopping by here,
