Clockworks Make and Take

We enjoyed two make and takes at Telford and I made the most of a rare chance to craft!  This was the first thing we made (sorry about the not so great photography):

The little box was made with the Two Tags Bigz die (which is retiring at the end of the month so nab it while you can!) and a scored piece of Calypso Coral card.  Inside there are five little notecards made with the Clockworks stamp set and the sentiment is from One in a Million.  The flower is made with two pieces of Calypso Card and two layers of First Edition paper, all punched out with the Fancy Flower punch.  The First Edition flower, have had a bit snipped out and then the flower has been glued back together to make the flower a bit more shaped.  A gorgeous little dahlia embellishment finishes it off, together with a toothpick and the happiness sentiment (also from One in a Million, the word inked with a marker pen).

Supplies
Stamps: Clockworks, One in a Million
Ink: Gumball Green, Pool Party, Calypso Coral
Card: Whisper White, Calypso Coral
Paper: First Edition
Other: dahlia embellishment, toothpick, Fancy Flower punch, Two Tags Bigz die

Back to school today but I've had a lovely half-term!  Not enough time to craft but then there never is!  I'm sure many cat owners will empathise with today's picture.  Socks delights in 'helping' us make the bed up...

Have a great day everyone!

  3. Yes I can definitely relate to the cat pic today - we have had a few hairball incidents lately and Tuppence is in the dog house! I was just looking at that card the other day - it's beautiful in those colours. Vicky x
