Happy Advent!

Hello my blogland friends and forgive the long absence! I wish I could say this is the start of regular blogging again, but you'll have to wait until Christmas for that!

A friend of mine asked me to prepare the materials for her to host a crafting party, which was something of a challenge as they don't have any materials.  Here is one of the cards I came up with:

I die cut enough snowflakes for each person to make up their own with one layer of white and one layer of this gorgeous silver glittered card.  The beautiful paper is from the Candelight Christmas set and the word 'Believe' is from Snowflake Soiree and it is stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

Supplies
Stamps: Snowflake Soirée
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Card: Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper (which is more like card than paper!), 5" square scalloped card blank (non-SU)
Paper: Candelight Christmas Speciality Designer Paper
Other: Bigz Snowflake die, BigShot

So despite working through the night last night to get all this ready, I still haven't made a single Christmas card for myself! I have once again managed to sell all the ones I made earlier in the year, leaving myself in the same position as last year... I think I can foresee future late nights ahead!

I have just discovered Maru the cat on Youtube so I shall leave you with one of his videos that I enjoyed the most:

Thanks for bearing with me at the moment!

Lovely card. I've resisted the snowflake die mainly because we have a very hot Christmas in Australia...but it looks gorgeous and I may have to re-think my decision. Love the glittery goodness of your creation today!
