I'm still trying to get some more Christmas cards made in amongst everything else, so I turned the sketch below to my advantage. I stamped that gorgeous image out from Beautiful Season and coloured it in using my marker pens and my aquapainter. The sentiment was coloured in directly with markers and then stamped. I die cut out the circle shapes and then inked the edges with Crumb Cake. The subtle text patterned paper is Crumb Cake, mounted on Cherry Cobbler (quite possibly my favourite of all the SU colours!) and added in some lace trim and Cherry Cobbler seam binding. Four rhinestones complete the card, which has, surprisingly for me, stuck rather closely to the sketch! It's good to know I can do it when I try!
Supplies
Stamps: Beautiful Season
Ink: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, marker pens in Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Real Red
Card: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Paper: Crumb Cake from the Neutrals stack
Other: lace trim (non-SU), Cherry Cobbler seam binding, rhinestones, sponge daubers, aquapainter, stamp-a-ma-jig, circle dies and BigShot
On the subject of supplies, if you were interested in any items on the retiring products list, don't hang about! Quite a few have already sold out and it's only the 5th September!
