Blue Bordering on Romance

Hello!  It's another colour challenge from me today.  This time it's Colour Q and the lovely combination of blues and green that they're asking us to work with.  I've been playing with Bordering on Romance and I decided to rotate the corner flower stamp through 360 degrees to make a floral square.

The flowers are coloured mostly in Bashful Blue and Night of Navy, with the little ones in Marina Mist (the closest I had to Brocade Blue).  The stamp-a-ma-jig featured prominently in today's card, necessary for both positioning the corners correctly and lining up the sentiment from Love & Laughter in the middle.  I picked out the words 'love' and 'laughter' with my Night of Navy marker before stamping.  This was then mounted onto Bashful Blue and Night of Navy card.

Supplies
Stamps: Bordering on Romance, Love & Laughter
Ink: Basic Black, marker pens in Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Night of Navy, So Saffron, Lucky Limeade and Basic Black
Card: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy and Whisper White
Other: stamp-a-ma-jig, aqua painter (to soften the lime green of the leaves)

As always, if any of these supplies have caught your eye, please do not hesitate to get in touch by phone on 07977 141605 or email.  I would be delighted to assist you with your crafty makes and place a SU order for you.

My husband has taken this week as holiday and is being ever so useful around the house.  He's been doing pretty much all of the cooking and washing up, which I really do appreciate!  It does lead to some interesting culinary presentation moments though.  When I asked if he could use up some meat from a barbecue, here is what he came up with:

Crackers, just like me!  Thanks as always for visiting me today,

  2. OMG, Victoria, LMAO! You two must be a laugh riot morning 'til night. I'd say he is one cool dude to do cooking and washing up (mine does the former only, but that's still awesome) and the plate decorating! When you started the next sentence, "It does lead to some interesting ...," I turned my eyes away ...

LOVE your card. I never think of square cards 'cause I don't have any square envelopes, but I love the look of them, especially so adorably balanced with flowers as you've done!
