Elementary Elegance with Mocha Morning

I've been playing a lot with Fresh Vintage recently, but I also wanted to show you Elementary Elegance, which is another stamp set you can earn when you spend £45.  It features a rather lovely frame, two sentiments ('hello' and 'happy birthday' - always useful!) and four small stamps of a key, a butterfly, a crown and a bird.

On Friday, I made a card that used one of the gorgeous metallic papers from Mocha Morning.  The paper I used in today's card has a pattern made with luxurious velvety flock.  Honestly, I could just sit and stroke it for hours.  (I know there are others out there who love beautiful paper too --- you understand me!)  I was strong though and cut into it, and here is the result:

It's a very simple card and you have to get up close and personal to see the detail.  The frame and sentiment were stamped on Very Vanilla card, which was then mounted on textured Crumb Cake so it remained in keeping with the Crumb Cake base.  I stamped the two little birds to tie the frame into the card.

Here's the best close-up photo I could get to show the texture:

Supplies
Stamps: Elementary Elegance
Ink: Basic Black
Card: Crumb Cake, textured Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Paper: Mocha Morning Designer Series Paper
Other: Stamp-a-ma-jig

If you are interested in these or any other Stampin' Up goodies, please do not hesitate to get in touch.  I will be delighted to help and assist you in any way I can.  Remember that Sale-a-bration is drawing to a close - I would hate for you to miss out on free stamps!  I have a free P&P offer running at the moment for my first three customers, as well as a prize draw to win a set of Everyday Enchantment paper.

I don't have any funny anecdotes to share from my own life today, so here's a funny video I saw the other day.  Hope it makes you laugh too!

Thanks so much for visiting me today,

  3. I always think designer paper looks far better on a card than in a drawer! Your card is beautiful Victoria with its dramatic colouring. My children were big fans of the snowboarding opossum! Vicky x
